Security & SOC compliance
You trust us with systems your business depends on. Independent examination of our own controls is one way we make that responsibility visible.
Frontier IT and Springs Hosting have maintained SOC compliance since 2017. Our reporting covers both businesses under Springs Hosting / Frontier IT.
Independent examination, ongoing responsibility
2017
Our SOC history began
We began with SOC 1 reporting and have maintained SOC compliance since 2017.
2025
SOC 2 Type II completed
Our SOC 2 Type II examination covered our Colocation and Managed Services systems.
The next examination is underway
Our next SOC 2 Type II examination is currently in progress. A new report will be available after the examination is completed.
What SOC 2 Type II means
A SOC 2 Type II examination evaluates the design of controls and how they operated over a defined period. It provides evidence for reviewing a service provider’s practices, beyond a statement that security matters.
The report explains the systems in scope, the controls examined, and the auditor’s findings. Clients can use it as part of their own vendor review.
What it means for your business
- A report you can review as part of vendor due diligence
- A documented scope covering Frontier IT and Springs Hosting
- Evidence about controls over time
A SOC report is not a guarantee that incidents cannot happen, and our examination does not make a client’s business SOC compliant.
Security is part of the work
For our managed services clients, protection includes the systems, the people using them, and the ability to recover. Your plan and proposal define the services included for your environment.
Protect and maintain
Managed endpoint protection, patching, and monitoring help us identify issues and maintain the systems your team relies on.
Help people recognize threats
Enterprise includes security awareness training and phishing simulations to help employees recognize suspicious requests.
Prepare for recovery
Backups and recovery planning help you prepare for disruption. We scope the systems and data that need protection with you.
